US DO schools

Midwestern DO Medical School

Here’s a comprehensive list of US DO Schools of Osteopathy, where you can obtain a DO degree. (Check out our post on the difference between DO and MD schools here.) This list is comprehensive as of June, 2017. It should give you an idea of the US DO schools in your region and state, and help you see your the options available to you.

These are US DO schools only. You can also search our list called “US Medical Schools,” which offers a state-to-state look at just MD schools.

In the near future, we’ll be expanding this list to include (1) links, (2) tuition costs, (3) GPA/MCAT median, (4) public/private status, and other helpful information on all US DO schools. Keep checking back.

There are some 40-plus US DO schools, and when you combine this with the MD schools, you have a range of options as you decide the vaunted list of schools to apply to! Especially if you’re open to moving out-of-state, paying private school tuitions, and considering every school where you’re a good fit, you can increase your chances of acceptance to one or more DO/MD schools significantly.
